Throughout history, countless philosophers and artists have pondered three ultimate questions: Where are we coming from? Why are we here? Where are we going?
As an artist, specifically a Chinese female artist who has transitioned from traditional to contemporary art, my life journey also occasionally prompts me to contemplate these three ultimate questions. However, as the years have passed, the answers I hope for seem to become increasingly distant.
Where are we coming from?
Where are we coming from?
Did God create us?
Did we somehow just appear on Earth?
Or did we create ourselves through the thousands of years?
Why are we here?
Why are we here?
Are we here to love each other?
Are we here to learn some deep secret about the universe?
Or are we here to destroy the mother Earth that host us as home?
Where are we going?
Where are we going?
Are we going to build a new Eden on Earth?
Are we going to travel to the ocean or the stars?
Or are we going to make the final judgement to ourselves?
